So You Can Eat At Night And It’ll Be Okay?

Posted by admin

So I was watching Dr. Oz yesterday (yesh, I don’t know why either) but he was talking about health rumors that just aren’t true and one of the things he mentioned was late night eating. We’ve all been told that late night eating isn’t good for you – and it makes sense. You don’t do anything other than sleep, so, the calories you intake can’t burn – right? Simple is as simple does, haha.

But WRONG! Well, at least according to some scientists and Dr. OZ. They’re saying your body works the same way at night so it’s not the night eating that causing you grief, it’s just that many who do it – do so on the regular – and have already eaten a ton throughout the day. So, essentially, it’s being said that if you watch your calories and keep them in check – eating at night is fine (well, other than if you have heartburn or something).

They quietly insinuated that if you’re unhealthy in your eating habits, you’re going to be plump – eating a cookie or some chips at night isn’t going to harm you unless you do it all the time and don’t watch your calories through the day.

Have to say – it does make sense. I’ve always thought the idea that eating late at night made you fat was odd.
